Replace Student Restrooms

The original student restrooms are almost 40 years old and are too small for the school size.
Federated States of Micronesia

We currently have over 180 students at our school. In the past this number has been over 220 students. For all these students, there are only 3 toilets for the girls and 2 toilets and a urinal for the boys. The student restrooms are small, the fixtures need replacement, and the roof structure and stall walls have termites. The building is also right in the center field of the campus. These 40-year old restrooms connect to a septic tank that sits above the ground about 1 foot. The toilets are on raised platforms with a step up to get high enough for the septic tank. The 2nd part of this project is connecting the apartment sewer lines to the public sewer system, because there is no drain field and the tank is usually full. Sometimes the toilets don't flush or the showers don't drain when the septic tank is full.
This project will construct new student restrooms that are 1.5-2 times as large as the current restrooms. The new restrooms will be centrally located between classrooms, but out of view from the front of campus. The plan for the new restrooms is to have 5 toilets and 3 sinks for the girls, and 3 toilets, 2 urinals, and 2 sinks for the boys.
