This project will provide staff housing in a safe location, increase peace of mind for administration and for SM parents due to safety issues being addressed, greatly reduce transportation issues for staff, and reduce outside house rental expenses.
In the aftermath of Typhoon Yutu, six of our staff members were left without living quarters. During this period, the school board decided to take a leap of faith and begin constructing new staff housing on our school campus. Fast forward to the present, the school has been approved for the school staff housing plan, has acquired a zoning permit, and has been blessed with a $45,000 donation from Hope for Humanity. As thankful as we are for the generous contributions so far, we are still short of our goal – the total cost of the project is $115,000. Our most immediate need is to bridge the financial gap to fully fund the housing project.
