Republic of the Marshall Islands

Majuro

The Seventh-day Adventist Church has two churches and two schools on this island atoll.

Delap Seventh-day Adventist School is the largest school in our mission area. It has over 350 students from pre-Kindergarten thru High School. Teachers live on the beautiful campus with an amazing ocean view and have less than a five-minute walk to a vegetarian/vegan friendly restaurant.

Laura Seventh-day Adventist School is the second school on this island and is about a thirty-minute drive to the west of Delap. It is a smaller campus that has served pre-Kindergarten to 8th grade. The teachers live on campus. Due to a lack of teachers, Laura students are attending the Delap school.

Ebeye

Ebeye Seventh-day Adventist School is a three-story pre-Kindergarten to 12th grade school with about 300 students. It is located on a very small, heavily-populated island in the Kwajalein Atoll. Staff housing is about an eight-minute walk or five-minute bike to the school.

Missionaries at this school experience the challenge of regular power outages and limited/expensive fresh food. Although it may have its struggles, the missionaries love it and many return for a second year of teaching! This is likely due to how close they get with their fellow missionaries and the students they are teaching, as it is much easier to limit distractions from the outside world.

Federated States of Micronesia

Kosrae

Kosrae Seventh-day Adventist School is a small school of almost 70 students. Teachers cover pre-Kindergarten to high school grade. Staff housing is located above the school classrooms.

Pohnpei

Pohnpei is the largest, highest and single most populated island in the Federated States of Micronesia. The islanders of Pohnpei are considered to be the most welcoming of outsiders.
The Seventh-day Adventist Church has four churches and a school here. Pohnpei Seventh-day Adventist School is pre-Kindergarten to 12th Grade and has over 300 students. The teachers live on campus.

Chuuk

Chuuk has dozens of populated islands that are protected by a large lagoon atoll.
The Seventh-day Adventist Church has two churches and a school. Chuuk Seventh-day Adventist School is located on the main island of Weno and is Kindergarten to 12th Grade with 184 students. The teachers live on campus.
There was a second school located on Paata, which is about an hour boat ride from Weno, that taught Kindergarten to 6th Grade. The teachers lived in the same building. This second school is not currently operating due to lack of staff. Residents are eager for the school to reopen when there is a sufficient number of volunteers available.

Yap

Yap is beautiful and is known for stone money and snorkeling/diving with giant manta rays.
The Seventh-day Adventist Church has a church and school on this island. Yap Seventh-day Adventist School is Kindergarten to 12th Grade and has 74 students. The teachers live on campus and have a fifteen-minute drive to town for groceries.

Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands

Saipan

Saipan is the largest island in the U.S. Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands (CNMI).
The Seventh-day Adventist Church has two churches and a school on this island. Saipan Seventh-day Adventist School has an Early Childhood Development Center and has grades up to 8th Grade with 102 students. The teachers live on and off campus with a ten-minute drive.

Must have a valid U.S. passport or current U.S. permanent resident card to apply for positions in Saipan, as it is a United States territory. Positions on other islands do not have this restriction.

Guam

Guam

Guam is the headquarters of our mission because of its connection to the U.S. and access to more resources.
The Seventh-day Adventist Church has eight churches and one school located here. Guam Adventist Academy is pre-Kindergarten to 12th Grade and has 117 students.

Must have a valid U.S. passport or current U.S. permanent resident card to apply for positions in Guam, as it is a United States territory. Positions on other islands do not have this restriction.

Republic of Palau

Palau

Palau is a beautiful country and many believe it currently has the world's best diving!
The Seventh-day Adventist Church currently has seven churches and two schools here. Palau Seventh-day Adventist Elementary School is to the south on Koror island and is Kindergarten through 8th grade with 266 students. Palau Mission Academy is further north and has 85 students.
