Palau

Palau has strong community links with pride and honor among our islands. Respect towards all elders and leaders is a vital part of the cultural system. We have a mixed culture with different influences from around the world and are one of the most highly urbanized and modernized islands in Micronesia.

Palau Seventh-day Adventist Elementary School opened its doors in 1953 in the main city of Koror. Palau Mission Academy was established ten years later in 1963 in a more quiet rural setting on Babeldaob.

The Seventh-day Adventist Church currently has seven churches and two schools here. Palau Seventh-day Adventist Elementary School is to the south in the city of Koror and is Kindergarten through 8th grade. Palau Mission Academy is further north in a more rural setting.
