Palau has strong community links with pride and honor of our islands. Respect towards all elders and leaders is a vital part of the cultural system. We have a mixed culture with different influences from around the world and are one of the most highly urbanized and modernized islands in Micronesia.
Our Seventh-day Adventist Elementary School opened its doors in 1953 in the main city of Koror. Our Seventh-day Adventist Mission Academy was established 10 years later in 1963 in a more quiet rural setting on Babeldaob.
