Chuukese AM Radio Station

To reach the estimated 70,000 Chuukese-speaking people in western Micronesia.

*** Thank you for your generosity! Your dollars were doubled as the first $100,000 donated to this project has been MATCHED by the Guam-Micronesia Mission ***

About 70,000 people in our region speak the Chuukese language.
Only six of the 50 islands in the Chuuk and Yap region have been entered by Adventists.
The people of these isolated islands have extremely limited access to communications. We’ve been praying for God to open a door of opportunity to reach them and we believe He has done so.

An AM radio station license is being donated! This license is extremely difficult to obtain. God has opened the doors for this amazing opportunity.

We need to raise funds for a new higher power transmitter, attorney fees, studio equipment transmitter building, and other startup costs. $210,000 is needed to get off the ground. Additional funds will be needed for tower erection. Those costs have not yet been determined.

If this project has any remaining or additional funds raised during this campaign, they will be donated directly to Guam-Micronesia Mission to be used to complete other projects on this specific island. Also, if this campaign is fulfilled in any other manner or the project is terminated due to unforeseen circumstances, all funds raised will be donated directly to Guam-Micronesia Mission to be used to complete other projects on this specific island.

God continues to open doors for our new station Chuukese Radio Station Pwipwi Soulang Radio. A modern used transmitter that turned out to be an incredible bargain and blessing has finally arrived. We are still operating on a temporary antenna at low power and are only partially covering the island of Guam. We are hoping to raise enough funds to put up a new tower by July of 2022. This will allow us to go to full power and reach the Chuukese people across the islands in western Micronesia.

We've hired a new Chuukese Assistant Manager who will work with volunteers to create Chuukese programs and develop announcer talent. We're excited that God has brought us this far ad are praying for his continued blessings and provisions to grow this ministry.

$222,474.06 has been raised thus far! We are so thankful for everyone that has shared a gift to make this possible. We still need to raise $127,525. The majority of expenses remaining are for the erection of a new tower.  Thank you for investing in the lives of the estimated 70,000 Chuukese across our region as we seek to proclaim the everlasting gospel in these last days of Earth's history.
