As our class depart ways, most likely to never see each other’s faces again, we want to make our senior retreat special:
- Leave a legacy behind
- Widen horizons
- Something that future classes can aspire to
- Extensive learning of the culture and lifestyle of Palau
- Cultural exchanges from students in Palau
- Experience traveling as we prepare to travel even farther for college in the near future
- Gain the amazing opportunity to spend some much needed quality time, and make life-long memories in Palau
To do this, we need everyone’s support. Big dreams require community support. We call out to the common good and sympathy within the hearts of the people to graciously and kindly offer any and all amount of support you can.
Thank you for your kindness and for helping to make our big dreams a community dream come true. Kalahgan lap & God Bless!
- PSDA Class of 2023
This will be the first time that any graduating class from PSDA will venture outside of our island home. It is our dream to witness the mesmerizing sites and enriching culture of Palau as we reflect on our high school years and spiritually prepare ourselves for adulthood.
The class is thankful to Palau Mission Academy for generously agreeing to accommodate us during our short stay on Palau (March 30-April 5. 2023).
The class has plans to host a school wide chapel, participate in a cultural exchange presentation with the PMA senior class, tour the capitol with President Surangel S. Whipps, Jr., visit cultural sites and enjoy the beautiful natural sites of Palau.
Upon presenting this idea to our school administration and parents -- the class understood that this project would be a huge undertaking. We would like to thank all our supporters for allowing us to dream big and work hard towards this goal to make it a reality. This trip has been a huge undertaking both financially and with the time commitment spent working towards this goal.
DOING OUR PART:
It has not been easy but we are extremely thankful to our community that continues to lift us up in our efforts by purchasing goods during fundraisers, sponsoring trash-a-thons/car wash, generously donating, spreading the word, and praying for us. God has brought us this far and we would like to thank everyone that has been part of this journey.
