Flooring for Pohnpei Church Company

Palikir is the capital of Pohnpei and has a church company that would like to tile their sanctuary and wooden floors in their Sabbath School building
Federated States of Micronesia

Palikir is the capital of Pohnpei (Federated States of Micronesia). The islanders rely heavily on farming and fishing. There are only two families that are employed and it is somewhat difficult to get the required funding for any capital improvement projects for the local Seventh-day Adventist Church Company.

The church is mostly made up of young people and current work is being done on completing a Sabbath School building. They currently meet under the trees outside of the church and if it rains, all classes meet in the church. It is very difficult to have 3 separate Sabbath school classes going on at the same time.

They are asking for $8,000 to be able to put ceramic tiles in the main church and wooden floors in the Sabbath School building that is in progress.

Any amount you can give to support this project is greatly appreciated!
